10:02Now PlayingThe National Commission for the Protection of Children's Rights (NCPCR) has recommended that the Delhi government's "Desh ke Mentor" programme be suspended until safety flaws are addressed. In response, AAP has issued a circular advising all parents to be present during conversations between parents and their mentors. Volunteer mentors will be assigned to children in grades I through XII as part of the initiative, which will begin in October 2020. Mentors between the ages of 18 and 35 can sign up for the programme through an app developed by a team at Delhi Technological University, and will be connected with students based on same interests.
