3:13Now PlayingThe Madras High Court ruled on Wednesday that all sports clubs, associations, and federations in the state must now have only sportspeople as president, vice-president, and secretary. Politicians and businesses would no longer be allowed to hold these positions. Mahadevan, and it should be within the scope of decision-making powers of selection committees comprised solely of athletes. The judge stated that all selections must be made after the implementation of an online registration system, and that every sports body in the state must post the specifics of monies awarded and the amount spent on each sportsman on its website.
