7:20Now PlayingTabling the Union Budget 2022-23 Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the government aims to prioritize inclusive development to benefit farmers and the farming sector. She said that the procurement of wheat, rabi, paddy, and kharif would cover 1208 lac metric tonnes of production. Additionally, Rs 2.37 lac crores will be transferred to farmers as MSP. The government will now be promoting chemical-free natural farming throughout the country. Post harvesting value addition support will also be provided to millet cultivators. Imports of oilseeds will be attempted to reduce by the government by promoting the farming of oilseeds in the country. Watch to know more!
