One of the latest examples is the state of Haryana which passed a law to reserve 75% jobs for the locals having salaries below Rs. 30,000. However, it faced immense criticism and was challenged in the court as well. To discuss this, we are joined by Madan Sabanvis who said that the Government is not able to generate enough employment and hence private sectors must step into it. He further added that such reservations would hinder the activity of the private sector.
