This has come up as a major development amid the Russia Ukraine crisis as Russia orders its military to be prepared to use nuclear power against Ukraine. European chief also announced that similar steps could be taken against Belarus as well if it comes against Ukraine in this war. In the steps taken against Russia, ES, the UK, EU, and Canada has decided to remove major Russian banks from Swift. EU chief also informed, "for the first time, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and other equipment to the country that is under attack."
