as posted by the channelThe medical teachers in Maharashtra have decided to continue their protests as talks between State Medical Association and the Maharashtra Government have remained inconclusive. They also stated that the protests will continue until they receive a written assurance from the state. The teachers have stopped all non-emergency routine services including OPDs, across 19 medical colleges in the state. The teachers are demanding on-time promotions, the complete roll-out of the 7th pay commission, permanent appointments, and revision of salaries, among others. The response from the end of the government is still awaited over this.
