Recently the government of India issued data that shows a rise in wholesale inflation rate which continues to be double-digit for the eleventh month in a row. Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has reduced interest rates to the lowest in more than 40 years for the current financial year. The retirement fund body had decided to reduce the interest on provident fund (PF) deposits for 2021-22 to 8.1 percent from 8.5 percent in the previous fiscal, 2020-21. Watch this for more.
