According to reports, the BMC sent Rane's wife and kid a letter on March 16 stating that if he did not remove the "unauthorized change of use" works, the BMC will demolish them and charge the owner. On February 21, a team of BMC authorities visited the bungalow known as 'Adhish,' which is located in the affluent Juhu region, for alleged CRZ rules violations.
