2:07Now PlayingKarnataka Board SSLC class 10th exams are commencing from 28th April 2022. Around 8.73 lakh students will be appearing for the exams across the state. However, students wearing hijab were not allowed to appear for the examination in a few schools. Visuals have emerged from certain schools where students were seen removing their Hijab before entering the campus. Meanwhile, at an exam center in Hubli, a Hijab-wearing student was sent back home to remove the Hijab. The Karnataka Secondary Examination Board has instructed all the students to follow the High Court's order on the uniform code. The High Court had earlier upheld the ban on Hijab, calling it not essential to Islam. Watch this to know more!
