This year more than eight lakh students got themselves registered to take the exam. As Karnataka Board class 10th exam is commencing today. students wearing hijabs were not allowed to appear for the exam in a few schools. Visuals have emerged from certain schools where students were seen removing hijabs before entering the campus. As per reports, a student at Shantiniketan Testing Center refused to remove her Hijab was sent back home, and was not allowed to take the exam.
