8:24Now PlayingDr Archana Sharma, a private hospital gynaecologist, committed suicide by hanging herself in Dausa on Tuesday, a day after a FIR was filed against her under Section 302 of the IPC (murder). She stated in her suicide note that the patient died during a routine operation. State doctors were outraged by the suicide and have called a protest at all private hospitals in Jaipur. The Rajasthan Medical College Teachers Association and the Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors have both requested that those responsible for the alleged suicide abetment be brought to justice.
