As per reports, after police issued a lookout notice against the actor-producer, he approached the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail. According to a report by Live Law, the de facto complainant mentioned in her statement, "He was like a monster to me". It further mentioned the actor gained her trust by being friendly with her and advising her when she was a newcomer to the industry. Subsequently, he sexually abused her under the guise of being a 'savior' on personal and professional issues.
