2:42Now PlayingViolence broke out in Patiala, Punjab, between a Sikh group and Shiv Sena workers amid the anti-Khalistan protest planned by the Sena workers near the Kali Devi Mandir. The pro-Khalistani crowd had resorted to stone-pelting and brought out swords. Heavy security has been appointed in the area to keep things under control.
It started when the Sikh groups tried to block the protesting Sena workers, which spiralled out of control. Police had to use tear gas and open fire to quell tension. An investigation is on in the matter. Mirror Now brings you the on-ground visuals. Watch this video to know more.
