Several important cross-examinations happened today in the case. Pawar highlighted how the violence took place because of the police machinery, who couldn't do the work efficiently at the time. He pointed out how 2 different incidents took place, back to back. One was the Elgaar Parishad case on 31st December 2017 and the other was Bhima Koregaon on 1st January 2018, and they should not be mixed up. He also pointed out that Article 124a of IPC, Sedition law, is being misused in the case and needs to be repealed/amended.
