From October this year, only citizens who opt for it will get the subsidy on electricity. According to the current subsidy scheme, Delhi residents have a 0 rupee electricity bill for consumption up to 200 units and an 800 rupee subsidy from 201 to 400 units per month. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal made the announcement today. The ongoing scheme was announced back in August 2019 to give free electricity to all for up to 200 units.
