4:53Now PlayingAs per the court orders, the survey panel has reached the Gyanvyapi Mosque's premises in Varanasi. There will be a waiting game to see if they will be allowed inside the mosque to carry out the video-graphical survey and inspection as per the court mandate. The survey is expected to take 3-4 days, where the entire process will be documented. Earlier, the mosque authorities, Anjuman Intezamia Committee, had openly refused to allow the survey to take place.
The survey was ordered after a petition was filed to restore the 2,000-year-old Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allegedly torn down by the Mughals to build the mosque.
