Allegedly, Sri Lanka's belief is that the Rajapaksa family has ruined the country and has pushed it into this economic turmoil which has been going on for months now. Failed economic decisions such as not using chemical fertilisers, and forbidding tourists from visiting the country have highly contributed to the nation's economic destruction.
