2:02Now PlayingAs per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, the anti-conversion bill discussion is set to come up before the Karnataka cabinet meeting today. The state government is set to go ordinance mode to bring the bill to the state, after consultation with the legal department which has given a go ahead. Reportedly, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has stated that his govt shall move ahead via the ordinance route for the anti-conversion bill. Moreover, the Bhartiya Janata Party govt has also decided on inculcating an ordinance against conversion in the state of the Law Department as well, once they have a go-ahead for the move. The Bommai led Karnataka government Cabinet is likely to give a nod to the ordinance mode move today.
