1:21Now PlayingAs per the latest news coming in Mirror Now, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has been sentenced to a year in jail in a 1980 road rage case. The order was delivered 30 years after the case when a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on the review of the case, by the family of the victim against the former cricketer. While Mr Sidhu was held guilty of voluntarily causing hurt to a 65-year-old man, he was spared a jail term and fined ₹ 1,000. The Supreme Court also acquitted Mr Sidhu's aide, Rupinder Sandhu of all charges, saying there was no proper evidence he was present on the spot.
