1:59Now PlayingAs per the latest news coming on Mirror Now, it is being reported that six students at Anna University have tested positive for Covid-19. Also, the total cases in IIT Madras touched 191.
40 samples were collected from the campus and 6 turned out to be positive. All six people suffering from covid-19 are students.
Tamil Nadu health secretary J Radhakrishnan visited both Anna University as well as IIT Madras on Wednesday morning. He assured that Covid-19 tests would be conducted for students residing in the campus across the states.
Radhakrishnan also asked the university management to strictly set up all the preventive measures.
The government along with the campus authorities are trying their best to ensure that the Covid-19 cluster does not spread to the other places from the university.
