28:12Now PlayingIn this episode of the Urban Debate, Mirror Now's editor-in-chief Nikunj Garg will be joined by R.K. Singh, the power minister of India. In recent weeks, India has faced a severe power crisis. There was a power cut everywhere, from metro cities to small towns. Now the power minister joins us to elaborate on the situation. Union Minister R.K. Singh said that "we have transformed the power industry." There is no shortage of power in the country. "The shortage of power in the cities is due to local issues." On the question of coal shortages, he says, "I didn't say states planning on coal were amiss." "There are certain politicians who don't even care if their states go black in the long run," he adds, taking a dig at the opposition. Watch out for a heated debate.
