as posted by the channelToday morning, The Income Tax Department raided about 40 locations of the MGM group of companies in Tamil Nadu in the alleged case of Tax Evasion. MGM is a known and diversified conglomerate headquarters in Chennai. The conglomerates have been interested in Hospitality, Theme Parks, Logistics, Trading and More. Around 200 officials arrived at over 40+ locations in Chennai and almost 5 Officers at each. Some locations in Karnataka are also being raided in the suspicion of Tax Evasion.
The raids went on for 4-5 hours and no evidence has been found or reported yet.
