While Congress called this highly unconstitutional, BJP said that it's just a summon and there is no need of making it political. The Senior Congress Leader, Chidambaram, said that it is indeed political because there are certain things not being followed by ED as PMLA requires three basic things. First, there must be a Schedule Offence, Secondly, There must be a Police Agency that registers the FIR, while there is no registered FIR. Third, There has been no FIR copy given till now. This is an outrageous violation of Liberty and this makes it Political. On Monday, Gandhi was questioned by the agency continuously for several hours. He was given a lunch break after three hours during which he went to meet his mother Sonia Gandhi at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where his mother is undergoing treatment.
