2:23Now PlayingSanjay Gupta, the managing director of OPG Securities, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested in the NSE co-location case.
A source privy to the development said, “The searches and the probe have shown that there is a Mumbai-based syndicate that could have assisted Gupta in reaching out to Sebi officials who were conducting the investigations. His questioning is necessary to find out whether he attempted to pay any bribe, made an offer, or actually paid the bribe.” Recently, as part of the case, the CBI had conducted search operations at Gupta’s brokerage, along with 10 others.
