The election for 18 municipal councils and 28 municipalities was conducted on 19 June, Sunday. Almost 70% of voters showed up to exercise their universal franchise. With 84.6% Rewari's Bawal municipal committer recorded the highest percentage of voting. Whereas, in Bhiwani and Jhajjar voter turnout was slightly lower to 63.6% and 61.60% respectively.
