He was speaking at a media briefing at the Shiv Sena Bhavan just after Maharashtra CM Shinde took his oath. He said that "Let the metro car shed project be in Kanjurmarg, not Aarey," Thackeray urged. Kanjurmarg is not a private residence. I support environmentalists and have designated Aarey as a protected forest. There is wildlife in that woodland." He also took another shot at Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
