As per the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), the water removal pipe has been blocked with garbage, adding further woes for all the commuters. This bridge is one of the biggest elevated bridges in the state of Gujarat. It was constructed just a year back. Now the contractor of this bridge is under the scanner. Heavy rains have once again exposed the infrastructure problems in Gujarat. This bridge has been constructed on an enormous chamber of 200 crores. There is a huge traffic there as the truck keeps coming. A tender was floated by NHAI according to which a 4 km long bridge has been built on that road.
