The Madras High Court approved the AIADMK general council meeting for today, shocking the O Panneerselvam camp with its decision. Following the decision, the E Palaniswami-led AIADMK General Council meeting got underway in Vanagaram, where Edappadi Palaniswami was elected as AIADMK's interim General Secretary.
But just after the meeting inside the office, clashes between OPS and EPS began. Party members vandalised vehicles, they torched public property, and there were attacks with knives too.
