After spreading over in various parts of the world, now Monkeypox has reached India. First case of Monkeypox is reported in India. The patient returned from UAE was showing symptoms of Monkeypox, Samples of his blood test were sent to a lab for Pune virology centre which came positive. Patient's condition is stable. Central government has sent one team which will work together with the state and give their recommendations. The Kerala Health minister said there is nothing to fear. Veena George said, " He reached India from UAE on 12th of this month. All the steps according to WHO and ICMR have been taken. Vitals are normal."
