CM Eknath Shinde said, " Government has to spend 6000 crores RS extra due to price reduction in petrol and diesel." Central government has cut excise duty on petrol and diesel in the month of May and has appealed to the state governments to reduce state excise duties. Citizens are still not happy with the reduction as they were expecting more reduction in petrol prices. However some of the residents said that they are happy with the decision but expecting more to be reduced.
