According to the complaint filed by Basavaraj B Gosal, 53, of Dharwad, an arrest was made. Gosal accused seven individuals, including Babu, of bribing him and his acquaintances to the tune of over Rs 1.8 million, according to his complaint to the Kodigehalli police. Babu, who started a chit fund company called Swayam Krushi, encouraged him and his associates to invest in his initiatives such as the V Care Online education scheme, which attempted to provide free online education to government schoolchildren, and the political platform Rashtriya Janahita Paksha, according to Gosal.
