At the Seat Unique Riverside, where he has played 104 ODIs, Stokes will cap off his time in the international game. The Player-of-the-Match performance by Stokes in the 2019 World Cup final at Lord's, where his unbeaten 84 helped to send the game into a Super Over. And England won their first World Cup, Stokes will be known for it for the rest of time. Stokes took the Twitter to announce his retirement. He said, "I will play my final ODI for England on Tuesday in Durham. I've made the decision to stop using this format. Making this choice has been exceedingly difficult."
