Praveen Nettaru, a resident of Nettaru in Bellare in Dakshina Kannada district, was on his way home late Tuesday evening after shutting his Poultry Farm when he was stabbed to death, according to police. He tried to flee and run as soon as he was attacked, but he collapsed after a strike to the head.
Uneasy stillness has descended on Bellare following the murder of a BJP youth wing member by bike-borne assailants in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada.
