YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Bombay high court directs the connector to take a step forward to ensure the demolishment of 48 obstacles in the way of road services on the runway of Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport. The Mumbai administration did a survey and found around 137 obstacles. While leaving these 48 around, others are either in litigation or abiding by DGCA guidelines. These 48 structures are marked by the DGCA and Mumbai Airport authorities. These buildings are violating the DGCA guidelines. They get violation notices too.
The affidavit filed by the collector clearly said that 'This is the responsibility of BMC to demolish any building'. However, the DGCA responded that 'There is no law that does not allow us to initiate action from our office.'
