2:48Now PlayingAs per the latest breaking news coming from Finance Ministry, it is being reported that the GST collections rose 28 per cent to Rs 1.49 lakh crore on an annual basis in the month of July 2022. The gross GST revenue collected in the month of July 2022 stood at ₹1,48,995 crore. This GST Revenue collection for July is said to be the second highest ever as per sources since the introduction of GST in July 2017. The government cites the back of economic recovery and measures taken to curb tax evasion as the main reason behind this.
