After his death, the state health department convened a meeting at Punnayur and a contact list and route map of the deceased youth was prepared. The Ministry of Health traced and contacted the people he had been in contact with after his arrival in India to isolate and monitor them. This is a suspected case of monkeypox, the team is working to determine whether his death was caused by monkeypox or not.
