Ahead of elections the top court why the opposition parties were not concerned about the issue and said that the experts from Neeti Ayog, finance commission, RBI and opposition parties may need to go through pros and cons of freebies. The centre said that it agreed that it was a serious issue that the Election commission should definitely go through as it has an adverse impact on the voters.
