This fight between the two political parties has been going on since the demise of Jayalalitha in the year 2016. This case has been handed back to the High Court from the Supreme Court in order to dispose the plea in 3 weeks, and a status quo will be maintained in between this duration. After the demise, both the parties followed the dual-leadership, but OPS was not satisfied with EPS functioning in the party. Today's case will be heard by Justice Krishnan Ramaswami.
