He has just arrived at the Patna Raj Bhawan. Additionally, he put up a letter of support from 160 MLAs to assert his claim to form a new government. After presenting his resignation to the governor, Kumar reportedly told Chauhan, "All MPs and MLAs are at a consensus that we should leave the NDA." After submitting his paperwork, Kumar spoke with the media and stated that the JD made the choice for him to leave the NDA (U). He is currently having meetings with senior RJD figures at the home of former CM Rabdi Devi.
