WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, has announced that users may now erase messages up to two days after they are received. WhatsApp announced the change in the possibility to erase transmitted messages on the microblogging network Twitter. "Are you reconsidering your message?" After you push submit, you will now have a little more than two days to erase your messages from your conversations.
WhatsApp users will be able to erase messages up to two days and 12 hours after sending them. This restriction was formerly set at 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds.
Meanwhile, the platform will soon introduce a new function that will allow group managers to erase messages for everyone.
