2:00Now PlayingThe Election Commission of India (ECI) has further extended the date of the publication of an electoral roll by 25 days in Jammu and Kashmir. The ECI has in fact revived a schedule for Jammu-Kasmir, changing its earlier schedule, which was announced on 29th June. Now, the poll panel has said that the new date is 25th November for the last publication of the electoral rolls. Earlier, it was supposed to be 31st October. The elections will be held by the end of this year. When the previous date was issued by ECI, political hopes for the elections had risen, but after the date has been revised, the hopes slowly dims.
