The Siddaramaiah-led Congress administration issued a notification on March 14, 2016, which served as the formal date of the ACB's establishment.
Former Lokayukta Santosh Hegde stated, "This is a beautiful verdict, and I will refer to it as people-friendly because it conforms with the law. Because corruption has reached epidemic proportions, there is a critical necessity for people both inside and outside of Karnataka."
