Pawan Verma tweets, "Please accept my resignation. I want to express my gratitude for the friendly welcome you gave me as well as your kindness and courtesies. The prospect of keeping in touch excites me. With warmest wishes and my sincere sympathies."
You may remember that Pavan K. Varma, a former JD(U) MP, joined the TMC last year, claiming that it was urgent to work toward fortifying the Opposition. Pawan Varma and Prashant Kishor were removed from the JD(U) last year after intensifying their criticism of the BJP, the JDU(alliance )'s partner, regarding the CAA.
