On this particular stretch, it is claimed that several potholes went unfilled despite complaints from drivers. The victim's brother filed a police report against BBMP officials, charging them with failing to patch potholes and maintain the road, which resulted in his brother's death. He reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to a pothole while passing Ramraj Granite. He was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to a private facility in Basaveshwara Nagar, where he passed away.
