3:06Now PlayingOn Monday, the Chitradurga Sessions court ordered Murugha Mutt resident Shivamurthy Sharanaru to remain in judicial detention till September 14. After a four-day police detention period concluded today, the seer was brought before the court. The court had remanded the seer to police custody on September 2 and held him there until September 5. The police did not seek further detention of the seer after presenting him in court, so the judge was forced to place him in judicial custody. The seer has already applied to the court for bail on medical grounds. Chitradurga District Prison has increased security. Meanwhile, police had transported him to Mutt for an inquest on Sunday. Based on the testimony of the two girls, police had previously questioned the seer.
