Taking the process further, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde has submitted three names and three symbols to the election commission for his new party. These symbols are the Rising Sun, Gada or Mace and Trident. The three names for the Shinde party, as suggested, are Balasahab Thackeray, Shivsena of Balasahab Thackeray, and Balasahab's Shivsena. Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray also submitted a name that had Balasahab's name in it, and now the Shinde faction has also suggested names related to Balasahab Thackeray.
