1:54Now PlayingThe Goalpara district administration on Tuesday sealed the controversial private Miya Museum at Dapkarbhita in the Lakhipur area of the lower Assam district. Mohar Ali of Goalpara and Abdul Baten of Dhubri have been detained in connection with the case. Further investigation and interrogation would be carried out about their association with Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent/Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), Times Now's Nibir Deka reported. The action was taken after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators had asked the state government to pull down the museum that showcased the culture of migrant Muslims in the district.
