5:55Now PlayingAt a press conference on Saturday, Union Minister of State for Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar outlined the three major changes to the IT regulations that will support the internal community's continued openness, safety, and reliability. The intermediary is responsible for making sure that no illegal content, incorrect information about goods and services, or false information about a person is uploaded, in accordance with the revised Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Amendment Rules, 2022. A Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) will also be established to assist consumers, and its rulings will be binding on the intermediary.
