2:49Now PlayingAccording to the most recent updates in Mirror Now, all eyes are now set on the Supreme Court, which is all set to deliver its verdict on the plea challenging the 103rd constitutional amendment, which provides a 10% quota to economically weaker sections of society. The verdict today will be delivered by the five-judge constitutional bench headed by Chief Justice Of India (CJI) Uday Umesh Lalit. Judgement may include some of the wider issues, like whether the EWS quota violates the basic structure of the constitution, whether the quota is contrary to the constitution's equality amendment, or whether it violates the right to equality. The reservation in the future for the married-based candidate as well will be decided. Now all eyes are on the top court for the impending verdict.
