19:29Now PlayingIn this episode of Big Focus with Afrida Rahman Ali, we will deliberate upon the arrogant and unprofessional behavior of Mohammad Arif Khan, governor of Kerala, with journalists. Mohammad Arif Khan, the governor of Kerala, asked two Journalists from certain media houses to leave the venue. Governor alleged those two media houses running the campaigns against the Raj Bhavan. He said that these two media organizations had been continually acting as Mouthpieces of the left. Union of Journalists in Kerala held a protest and marched toward the Raj Bhavan, demanding an apology for the governor's statement. Press freedom in the state was curtailed, and comments like these from the person holding the governor's position are hugely disappointing. Editors Guild also condemned the unethical behavior and misconduct that was done to the reporters by the governor.
John Dayal, a Member of the Editors Guild Of India, said, "Governor has crossed all the limits; even BJP President JP Nadda never did this to the journalist those who ask the question he is not comfortable with.'
